During a recent session of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs, Dubravka Šuica made clear that she was in favour of abolishing Canadian visas for some EU members: ˝I cannot agree with this point H, which is also still uncertain, where we still have that some EU citizens and some individual member states still need a visa for Canada. (…) All member states must be treated equally when it comes to visas. I do not agree that there are first and second tier countries. (…) I will support the amendment which has been introduced here that the obligation to introduce visas for Bulgaria, Romania and the Czech Republic also be removed.˝
