The annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held from 11 to 14 October in Dubrovnik.

With a total of six hundred participants, it is the largest international gathering held in Croatia. The main topics of this international political gathering were security in the region of Southeast Europe, the addition of new members, and the NATO mission.

Along with many prominent members of the social and political life, Member of European Parliament Dubravka Šuica attended the ceremony to mark the opening of NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Dubrovnik.

President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Hugh Bayley said that the Croatian membership in the EU and NATO is a good basis for help to all those who wish to enter into this integration, as well as being a successful example for other countries in the region.
