Dubrovnik-Neretva County, together with partners the City of Dubrovnik and the company Dubrovnik Pearl organised the 2nd International Investment Forum 'Dubrovnik 2013', held under the auspices of Croatian President Ivo Josipović.
The Forum, which gathered some 150 participants, featured two panels:
Geostrategic position and investments in Dubrovnik-Neretva County
Tourism: Strategic contemplations of economic development and spatial conservation.
The first panel started with the presentation “Position and investment potential of Dubrovnik-Neretva County”, led by Deputy Prefect Marija Vučković. At the halfway mark of the panel, Tomislav Macan held the presentation entitled “Investmentsin transport infrastructure, and the example of the Dubrovnik Airport”. Panellists included Prefect Nikola Dobroslavić, Dubrovnik Mayor Andro Vlahušić, director of the Agency for Investments and Competitiveness Damir Novinić, director of the Regional Development Agency DUNEA Melanija Milić and Member of the European Parliament Dubravka Šuica.
