The 25th anniversary celebration of the first General Assembly of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) was held on February 24th in the ˝Vatroslav Lisinski˝ Concert Hall. Many party members, friends and supporters gathered on this occasion to recall this historic moment for the HDZ, but also for Croatia.
 
In addition to the many members, the meeting was attended by members of the HDZ presidency, led by President Tomislav Karamarko, and the presidency of HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina (HDZ BiH), headed by president Dragan Čović.
 
The wife of the first Croatian president Dr. Franjo Tudjman, Mrs. Ankica Tuđman, attended the 25th anniversary of the first General Assembly, while those present were addressed by the President of the Club of HDZ Founders Milan Kovač, representative for emigrants Ivica Zdunić, President of the Fidesz Club in the Hungarian Parliament Antal Rogan, President of the sister organization HDZ BiH Dr. Dragan Čović, and HDZ President Tomislav Karamarko.
